What small acts do you think deserve a spot in the Troo Music Lounge for 2007?
I keep pushing for The Joggers. They are a cool modern garage prog band from Portland, Oregon. Their stuff is complex enough to be way more than just a gagage band and they are one of the only bands out there that really uses harmonizing voice vocals. And the drumming is pretty hot. UNIQUE!
Aristocrunk - check out their page...I could never do a good enough job of explaining these guys...but they are here in Memphis (playing 3/3 at Newby's).
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

A kick-@ss 1-man band from Tucson. His monkey paw slide guitar would tear Bonnaroo a new one!!!!
I would love this! I still regret not going to see him a few years back. I would have loved to see him bounce 2 girls on his knees while he played guitar and drums and sang in his awesome helmet.

Ryan Adcock, from Cincinnati, acoustic folk pop rock, he's awesome, www.ryanadcock.com, probably would never happen, but he's my favorite local artist, and I think he could be big one day, get his name out there please, please check him out, you will not be disappointed...

I would love to see him rock out one of the tents. But I feel like he's a longshot in general. A thursday or Troo Lounge spot would not be one to miss...

Looks like these guys may actually play at Roo '08...they definitely have a showcase at SXSW and are signed to the same agency as WSP & REM.
If you want to stream their entire album, you can check it out on their (hopefully soon to be updated) website.
