Dang. That would be amazing. He and David Gilmour are among the very few acts I would take over Pearl Jam or the Police. He is touring the U.S. just at the right time, here's hoping!

God I hope not. I saw his "Dark Side of the Moon" show in September and yeah it was sweet but you could definately feel the precense of David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Rick Wright. I just have no interest in seeing it at Bonnaroo. Also, they paid so much money for Tom Petty last year and it wasn't worth the cash. I'd rather see one huge headliner (this year the Police, last year Radiohead) and then two mediocre headliners and a strong lineup throughout than two strong headliners and a weak lineup.

i saw his dark side tour in september and i thought it was incredible. it definetly added to the experience because i saw him at an outdoor show where they ended up letting the giant pig float away into the night. the lights show was good too. i think he would be a great headliner for one of the nights; the outdoor nighttime atmosphere that he would make would be superb.
I will agree that having one huge headliner is better than two if the strength of the lineup as a whole is at stake. However, I think Bonnaroo is the one festival big enough to pull of something like Waters and the Police. We'll see. If I were to pick a legend, I think I'd rather see Clapton (with Derek Trucks.) If Waters were to really make a go at the headlining spot/play all of DSOTM then I'm sure it would be an amazing show and I would think it would go well with just about everyone there.

i'm goin to the chicago show for sure, its like 4 days before the roo, but hell, unless he is at the roo, there is not much to stop me from goin'......the tour in September was phenomenal....it was in my top 3 shows of 06....gilmour or not, it is still one of the best shows money can buy.
ive been hoping he'd play roo for over a month now, finally some confirmation that he is even actually touring around that time. police, waters, and a big name jam headliner would be awesome.

i saw him at deer creek last sept and that was the best show i've ever seen by far, i know what people say about roger and he's a dick and arrogant and some other stuff, i don't care, even if gilmour's not there or wright or mason, i don't care, any form of pink floyd at bonnaroo seems only right, as does led zeppelin, as does the dead, trey and warren haynes, i don't care who it is, but as far as pink floyd goes, i have only seen waters and if you missed this show last year you should be kicking yourself, think of how many pink floyd fans are at bonnaroo, i'd say at least 3/4 of everyone there, maybe less, maybe more, either way waters is as close as i'll probably ever come to a pink floyd show, as is bobby and phil are as close as i'll get to a dead show, trey-as of right now is as close as i'll get to a phish show, never saw them either, i'm 25, kind of came on to the concert and jamband scene later than a lot of people, but i've been going to shows for 10 years, i wish i could've been at every bonnaroo, i was 21 when they had the first, would've been a good year to go, i just kept thinking about the things i heard at woodstock 99, and was comparing what i thought bonnaroo was like to woodstock 99, not even close, so i never went to the early bonnaroo's cause i was just afraid to do something like it i guess and didn't want to spend the money, but i feel home when i'm at music festivals and concerts, i wish i could go to a concert every night, if it were cheaper, seen dave 21 times, over the past few years i basically fell in love with widespread, string cheese, allman brothers, and trey to name a select few, i first heard the grateful dead when i was in 7th grade, my first roo was in 05, and i'll shut up now...

I bet Waters gets Friday night. I'd be willing to bet a beer or two. That date on the 19th is just too dangerously close to 'Roo for him not to be there.

I saw him in albany...i forget when. '02 maybe..anyways... show was amazing.. I especially liked wall songs (ones that he originally had lead vocals) but watching the whole crowd cross their arms like in the movie was sweet.
I saw him at an outdoor show in Pittsburgh and it was more than amazing. The pig was awesome, but I wouldve paid 50 to just watch the visuals on the screen. Incredible. If he does make a Bonnaroo appearance in a later artist addition I might implode
