"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
"All in all, the creative act is not performed by the artist alone.. the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his contribution to the creative act." -- Marcel Duchamp
Not sure if anyone's dropped this link, but if you guys ever want a clue as to who might be added at Bonnaroo, checking out the groups Big Hassle represents is a good resource. Linkage: bighassle.com/
Personally, my favorite potential adds would be Ray Davies, Patty Griffin and the Dears. Plenty of other bands in there too. Keep on eye on any additions to that page, and you might have yourself a clue to a new Bonnaroo act.

I really hope Panic! at the Disco and Slipknot get added.
I feel good about today being an addition day. But I am expecting a couple way out of left field type additions, similar to an Ornette Coleman. Along with Pete Yorn and Gift of Gab. But they need to throw a decent sized name in there to spur ticket sales.
Anybody else feel an additional round coming on this week? Who it'd be is beyond me, but between Coachella wrapping up, and Virgin announcing their big ass lineup, it's time for AC/Superfly to counter with whatever they still have left unannounced.

My thought exactly. I think they only have one left in them at most, and if it's gonna come it'd be now.

That would be quite a treat and very savvy of them, but I really don't think they have any artists left to announce, sans comedians. With Pete Yorn they didn't mention more were coming, which I think they would (a little extra advertising), plus generally when they begin announcing activites they are finished with the artists. However it could be a compromise: the announcement of special artist performances, like the late night Mule, extra long Ween set (I'll believe it when I hear them confirm it), and the hip-hop Galactic extravaganza.
Actually, I wasn't proposing TMV as an addition, but the "Give Us Mars Volta" thread guys were claiming they had the longest non-stickied thread on page 1 and I thought a little healthy competition wouldn't do any harm...
That being said, I'd enjoy TMV as much as the next guy.
