With 20 comedians I expect them to have a full blown comedy tent this year. Especially considering the awful long lines for the comedy barn and small capacity of the last two years.
With the 13 stage reference I think this would be a likely growth area.
that would be cool cause i always want to check people out but dont want to stand in line when so much is going on. be nice to walk up to comedy stage as someone is going on.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
yea, the line for Lewis black was asbolutely ridiculous last year. It snaked in ways I didn't know a line could snake. My wife and I considered waiting in it, then I was like, "WAIT! We are at BONNAROO! There are a million things to do at this moment in time, I don't want to spend my afternoon waiting in line to see a comedy performance we may or may not get into." So we never saw Lewis, and my wife never forgave me. We saw Bill Frisell and Dungen instead. Luckily I got to see Lewis In vegas 3 months later.
But I definitely agree, that small *ss comedy club is way too f*cking tiny. There is always a line. Waiting in line is something that should be banned at Bonnaroo.
I'd rather have a big comedy tent and no TV. Who wants to watch that crap with a full blown festival freak show all around you? I saw the most memorable things ever last year!

David Cross has been known to come out and introduce Tool on more than one occassion so i wouldnt be surprised to see him show up during tool's intermission or to introduce them.

It would be nice if they could build a small 200 seat (or so) theatre there. I would hope thats in their plans since they own most of the farm now and can put up permanent structures.

He also directed and appeared in one of the Black Keys' videos. I have a feeling he'll pop up here and there throughout the weekend.
