Their cover of The Rolling Stone's 'Down Home Girl' off of Big Iron World is just fantastic.

I'd never really noticed it before, but now whenever I listen to the RS version all I can think is "This song is just asking to get blue-grassed up".

its so great to see a OCMS discussion. Heard one song on Outlaw Country on Sirius sat. radio and decided to drag my friends to see them while we were at roo '05. Everyone was instantly hooked. the rest of weekend everyone was singing "johnny get your gun, gonna have a little fun"..... and playing air fiddle

can't wait to see a longer set this year

Yeah OCMS is the best, just saw them at Radford last Friday night my 4th show with the boys and there was a lot of picking and grinning going on

p.s. hopefully we can get Gillian and David up there with them for a sweet version of the weight

Anyone from Cincnnati on this thread? If so I hope you caught the Tall Stacks Fest last Oct. OCMS light it up!! Can't wait for this one. The 05 45 min. set was still one of my fav's from the weekend!! I got a great picture of a dude passed out and covered in newspaper right next to The Other Tent right before the came on. Great Memories.
