I agree. I love the band. Saw them in Austin at the Parish with What Made Milwaulkee Famous and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah opening. They're pretty tight musically. I'm hoping the Clogs come along and provide full orchestration (wishful thinking, I know).
The Cherry Tree EP is about as perfect a mini album as I've ever heard. And Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers is great to hear, especially the first 3 tracks off that album. Really, a great band. Sort of reminds me in weird ways of what would happen if Joy Division was fronted by Leonard Cohen.

Alligator is phenomenal. Can't wait for them. Saw them at Pitchfork Fest last year and at Southgate House back in '05 with CYHSY opening. Amazing show. Great add for Bonnaroo.

Me and my friend got confused for this band by some chick wanting to give us a right to the Pitchfork Fest so we could get ready to play. She didn't believe we were not in the band, this was in our hotel lobby, they stayed at the same place. Then the band came down and that solved the problem. Funny random story.
