www.kellerwilliams.net shows him playing Saturday and String Cheese Incident is on Friday according to their website. Perhaps we will end up with Late Night Cheese, I just hope they don't conflict with the Flaming Lips but the Flaming Lips seems like a Saturday late night band to me.

me and my buddy where just saying that they would most likey put cheese up against the lips just to make life a living hell
God, I hope they don't either. Last year I had very few conflicts except between Dr John and Superjam and I picked Dr John. I dont think they'll pit the Lips against String Cheese, they'll probably pit the Lips against Superjam, in which case, Ill take the Lips.

Wait, isn't a sts9 late night already confirmed for friday? there's no way they'll put cheese and sts9 on at the same time which means either a) cheese will not be late night or b) it'll be a cheese > sts9

I can't imagine SCI not late night (w/ Keller, natch), but I'm not convinced about the Lips. While I hope they are late night, they are so big now I expect they'll play the main stage, perhaps as a pre-headliner. One thing's for sure, there's no way their audience will fit in a tent.
OR they could put SCI closing the Which Stage to draw people away from Tool, but I wouldn't think they'd have the Cheese play a 90 minute set their last real show at Bonnaroo.

It would work out nicely if they put them up against SCI or Superjam. Superjam in This Tent, and the FLips in That Tent. Folks would be able to go back and forth without the hike to the Main stage.
I doubt this though, and Id put my money on seeing the FLips on the Main Stage in Oysterheads slot from last year. Obviously I always see the FLips as a latenight act, but they have no reserves on when they play. Could work out for the better though. One of my favorite video boots of them is from their Show at Glastonbury a few years back. They where playing at sunset and its just beautiful.
Still, Id be lying if I said I wouldnt be just a little disappointed to see them not playing late night.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

Yeah, actually I could imagine them putting SCI versus STS9. Last year they did MMJ vs UM/Disco so I could see that being similar.
Except for sts9 and sci have very similar fan bases. Most people I know that love cheese love sts9 and vice versa. On the other hand, MMJ and Umph/bisco do not share similar fan bases
To me it's seemed like the fanbases are pretty similar. Maybe it's just this site. At least I'm a fan of all three (don't know much about Bisco so I can't say anything.)
Argh, this not shakes up my ideal Roo this year. haha
I wanted SCI to play the 530-730 slot on Sunday to lead into WSP. Now that they are Friday though I swear if they conflict too much with anyone because I don't know how many bands would beat out going to see Cheese. Dare I say not even Flaming Lips...

^I think it is because the band has been going a different direction, a more trancey, less bluegrass direction than Bill Nershi (the older singer/guitarist) wanted to go. I could be wrong, but that is the vibe I had been getting.
But whatever the reason, I can't freaking wait to see them, and the late nite Friday Which Stage would be perfect.

^I'm listening to their 06/07 new years eve show right now, and i can definatly hear what your saying. I actually prefer this style of playing. I highly suggest grabbing this show if you can, its a sbd, and they have a sweet pretty polly on it, and some cool songs they've never played before, like a rockit tease and ziggy stardust. This recording is getting me psyched for sci. Whoa, just got to Dub Jam and i had to double take that i was still listening to sci.
