We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
I have never seen them and been impressed with the show. Opening for NIN in PA or headlining at the 930, they have never done it for me. Then again, I am afraid after Radiohead at Roo last year, I'm jaded and my expectations may now be simply too high for anyone to ever realistically reach.

agreed. I saw them once and they were no good. also, they were rude to the crowd.
Same here, I saw them at Lollapalooza right before RHCP and they almost made me want to leave before RHCP even came out. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think QOTSA would be a great fit for Bonnaroo.

I've seen them twice, but both times they were headlining a show. They kicked my ass of course.
It sure would be something if they threw together the Songs for the Deaf lineup for this! Even if it is just a one-off thing....I know the issues between Homme and Oliveri, but it does sound like there is an underlying friendship that could be resurrected based on some of Josh's comments.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

I don't know if anyone has thought about but interscope records website has Bonnaroo listed as a tour date but doesn't have who all is playing. It could be QQTSA or TV on the Radio either one would be good for me. I only know of one interscope artist playing at the festival so far. Hopefully there is more.

i had the same experience when they were opening for NIN. i was really into QOTSA's music so i was just as excited about seeing them as i was NIN, who i had seen before. they were bad...real bad actually.
but a friend of mine saw them a few years back and said they were great so maybe they're a really on/off live act??
All the nay-saying has made me reevaluate what I'd expected from them as a live band. I wanted power chords. If they're negative toward the crowd, I don't need that bringing me down, though.
