I saw Robert and the Family Band last night in Philly. Now, personally I was never worried about him being announced for Bonnaroo, but I know some people on the boards were sweating it. Right at the end of the show, Robert said something like "We will see you this summer at Bonnaroo." So I think all is well in the Bonnaroo universe.
Hope no one else has mentioned this... if so mods will lock
I just got RRandFB's new one "Colorblind" and it is jammin fo sho!!
The bad part is, there are so many that I want to see that are coming, I KNOW there are going to be some conflicts....Thats probably the biggest downside to roo that I can think of. Not being able to be in more than one place at one time!

Yea... this will be my 5th Bonnaroo, and my only gripe about it is that I don't have a teleporter to get me from one show to another quicker. But I guess if that's all I have to complain about then I should probably just keep my mouth shut and enjoy the ride.
I always seem to miss RR&FB becasue there is something else going on i haven't seen before

I was at a concert last night at my local underground music venue, I don't know if any of you have ever heard of the band Amsterband...I hadn't either, but I watched their set and they have a sweet sound! But anyway, I was talking to a few of the members after their set and I told them they should try and jump on the festival circuit and mentioned Bonnaroo, then they started telling me about how they opened for Robert Randolph a few months back and he had mentioned playing there. But if you ever hear of Amsterband in your are, definitely check them out, they're pretty solid.

I'd love to see another Word show, and i havnt seen RRFB in a while, so im glad to hear he'll be there. Hopefully there wont be a conflict and i'll be able to catch him, he always puts on an awesome show, especially at outdoor venues and festivals.

Luther was with him when he metioned this... The Word was one of my favorite sets from '05. I had thought about mentioning that this was a posiblity, but I hate starting nasty rumors. All of the speculation is killing me... need it to be June real fast.
