Did anyone see this show last year? (Grace Potter and the Nocturnals) I heard that they were awsome and am wondering if anyone thought that they might be added to the lineup in the near future. I love this band, I really hope to see them there!
Im hoping as well they will added as well. There working on a new album, and it looks like their going to have a summer release. So I think this may work out for them. Like hazed said instant fan.
I have been a fan of hers for awhile and their live sound has changed so much. They went from a bluesy soul band to a kick a** rock band but still with a soulful background.
she was definitely towards the top of my list of artists/bands i wanted to check out last year and she floored me and just like anyone else who saw her play, i was an insant fan as well. at allgood last year, i dragged about 10 people to the rail with me for her set and turned them all on to her awesome music. i raged it hard up there for the whole set.
I really hope she gets added. I couldnt gather anyone elses interest to go and see her and a steak was on the grill so I totally missed the show. If she got added again be sure I wont make the same mistake twice.
yeah i've been a big fan for quite awhile too. hope she gets added, one of the best acts at bonnaroo last year, and i didn't have to fight to get up close to the stage!

It would completely kick ass if they got added this year. I saw them last year and theirs was the best show of the entire festival for me. I don't expect it to happen, but here's hoping.

^^^I'm with ya. I went to that show not really knowing what to expect, and it was probably the best performance I saw all weekend. My friend got hit in the face with her boot when she kicked them off at the end.
ya when she launched her shoes into the crowd i thought it looked like she was doing it with violent intent. she really launched them. i also wasnt too sure what to expect. loved it. best daytime show of last year for sure. definitely hope they are back. but they dont have a huge library of songs so i kinda doubt it for this year.

I was really hoping they'd post the video (or at least just the audio) on the LiveBonnaroo site. I would absolutely pay $10 or whatever for a good (lossless) recording of that show. I managed to get maybe three minutes of it total recorded on my camera (which, after having it for about three years, discovered at Bonnaroo that it does video), but the show was too loud for the tiny microphone to actually record the music. So I've got little clips of video with roaring as sound. It's kind of amusing actually.
I totally hope Grace and the Nocturnals are back this year. Count me in as another instant-fan from last year's set, they were probably top 3 from the weekend, and I've seen them here in Boston since then. So awesome.
The boot kicking cracked, and still does crack, me up. That was some serious ish.

check out archive.org for some good shows.....there are a bunch of grace potter and the nocturnals, i'm not sure if their bonnaroo show is up, but i think their show from wakarusa last year is there
the roo show used to be up on archives but for some reason they took it off. ive listened to alot of their shows. they are all good but im partial too roo for obvious reasons. but i truly think it is their best show, not just because i was there.
