Yeah there are a few good songs on there Homecoming,Diane, Aint nothing wrong with that, they are better live than on the CD. I would like to see RRFB do a set similar to the Roo 04 set.

Wow, if they are there i hope they dont play anything off their new album. That thouroghly sucked for an rrfb album. First and probably last time i'll listen to it. The only decent song is Jesus is Just Alright, and they've been playing that for a few years.
I'll admit, the new album has some filler in it, there a few songs that are a miss . . . but Ain't Nothin' Wrong With That? That song is amazing, and its even better when they play it live. Homecoming, Diane, Deliver Me . . . those songs are all good, and they are the only ones they play live. Songs like Blessed and Angels never get played live, and there's a reason for that.

It just didnt sounds like RRFB at all, but im sure they jam out on those songs live, so its not that bad, but not a big fan of the cd. Way too overproduced for RRFB.

I agree that the album is overproduced. They added a lot of excessive sounds, which detracted from the real quality of the band. For instance, the horns that they added to Diane sound terrible.
And of course, the fact that I heard many of the songs live before the album came out (with the exception of Ain't Nothin' Wrong With That) certainly has some impact on my opinion.
Nonetheless, I've been to like 4 RRFB shows since Colorblind came out, and they have all been amazing! He is keeping a good mix of new stuff, Unclassified, his old jams (like Shake Your Hips and The March), and of course, a few cover songs (and a new song called "This Love", its a slower jam . . didn't like it the first time, but they are working on it, and its getting better). Any time a RRFB show is within 3-4 hours driving distance of me, I go, they are that good.

Agreed^, you cant go wrong with their show, i dont care what they play. I think its the most consistent band in the biz. Who has ever seen a bad RRFB show?

Not to dampen anyone's spirits but, Robert stops touring with Ziggy Marley on May 18th and the Neville Brothers are the openers from then on. Also, Kim already said, he's more likely to jam with someone than to play a full set, so my guess is check out North Mississippi Allstars.

Well you definately dampened them, haha. I'd like to see the Neville Brothers this year. I missed their set, but heard the recordings- very cool. I think RR will be there though. He has been hinting an appearance to the fans and he said he has a great time at Bonnaroo.
