about the beck thing, he just seemed a little bland. Don't get me wrong, I love beck, i think the information is the best album of last year, but he seems tired of everything, or at least he did back then.
Compare that to Thom during the radiohead set, laughing and throwing glowsticks after 2 whole hours of performing.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

My bad, i rarely have time to get way into the story of any one band since im always listening to some much new stuff. Plus, never seen primus. Sorry, i am indeed an idiot.(Seriously, not trying to sound like a smart ass) I do indeed love primus though.

Yeah, its something my youth limits me by. I only really know the story of bands that have risen in my time. Primus was a little before, so i got on the boat a bit late. Oh well, as long i get there.

the primus sucks phrase used to be but Les doesnt like it anymore I dont think. I have a dvd where the crowd starts chanting Primus Sucks Primus Sucks....and Les stops and says that we dont say that anymore. We used to suck, but not anymore. HUGE Les fan though.....really need a Claypool addition
That's one of the few things I did know about Primus, even though it was well before my time. There's really no chance we'll get Primus is there? They aren't really on tour at all and it doesn't seem like Les will be there solo.
Haha, thats hilarious. But we definatly need les, in any form. I even really liked his new solo album, the bass in that was ridiculous, he tore it up.
I dont think he cant tear it up. Last year was my first roo but les definitely compeltely my music experience at Roo and this year jsut wouldnt feel right without him.

I would never rule primus out from bonnaroo, to my knowledge they're all on good terms, and Les loves roo, so im sure he'd have no problem doing a one off show. If primus isnt there, i bet Les is, playin a bit of his new album.

so i just read on the bullboard that les is playing wakarusa, summer camp, and high sierra....so why wouldnt he play roo? god i hope he gets added last year was SMOKIN...oysterhead AND fancy band. i think i actually had a better time at the fancy band set since it was in a tent and not as damn hot as main stage mid afternoon :-)

When I saw them in Nov 2006 the crowd was chanting it and the band seemed to dig it.
We saw Les at Ween in 2004 and my friend yelled Primus Sucks and we got all kinds of dirty looks from the people around us. I dont think Les heard him though. It was pretty funny.

i think the instance i was talking about is on the Primus Blame it on the Fish dvd. It was filmed during their 2003 tour i believe. Things may have changed, but no matter what the catchphrase i dont think i could ever bring myself to yell at les Primus Sucks....i know it isnt meant to be taken literaly but something just seems wrong to me about it haha LES F**KING ROCKS thats what im gonna yell from now on hahah

Personally, I think it's going to be a few weeks. We all know these are strategically done to spark ticket sales. If sales continue to be strong, I think they'll wait as long as possible.

20 percent faster, thats pretty good, anyone remember how long it took them to sell out last year so we could estimate when they'd sell out this year? I have 2 friends who haven't gotten their tickets yet.
Shouldn't Dude show up soon to bitch about how it's going mainstream? ;D
Seriously though, it would be pretty lame if they only added one or two more big bands. It wouldn't be as big of a deal, but given their history of adding awesome acts, it'd be a comparative letdown.
edit: I did like part of that article:
"The Police are definitely a special artist to have on the Bonnaroo lineup, no doubt about it," says Mayers. "It's going to be one of their more unique plays on this tour, and I think for a lot of the fans it's going to be one of the most economical ways to go see them, considering the [Bonnaroo] ticket price and all the other bands on the bill."
