Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I know we already have an official music guide/sampler selection for artists playing at ROO but I am more of an album man...rather than picking up singles or just downloading a few tracks...if anyone has any suggestions for ONE album to pick up from any of the artists it would be more helpful to me at least.
The purpose here isnt to start any scuffles...just give me your pinnacle album of any confirmed artists....thanks for your help fellow Rooers!!!

I think everyone is going to point of different records...guess I'll throw in my 2 cents
Spoon - Kill the Moonlight (the height of the definitive Spoon sound) White Stripes - Elephant (WBC is the farthest from the WS sound, Jack placed limitations on this album, no guitar solos! no blues jams!) Black Keys - The Big Come Up (least produced album, closest to the Keys true sound on stage) Decemberists - Picaresque King of Leon - Youth and Youngmanhood

I'd change the Widespread Panic reccomendation to shows. Live in Classic City would have been a great representation of live Panic, if Mikey wasn't dead. panicstream.com/vault.htm/ has a ton of live Panic, and basically every show with Jimmy Herring, who will be playing with the boys at roo. I'd suggest 11/3/06, 12/31/06, and 10/30/06 for your listening pleasure. 10/30 has a ton of cover tunes, so it may be a good place for a lot of non-spreadheads to start.
If you like The National, do yourself a favor and get The Cherry Tree EP if you haven't already got it. For my money, it's the best thing they've done.
Lily Allen - Alright, Still Debut album, poppy british stuff, but it's good, good, good. Nothing wrong with a well-executed pop song.
Tool - Lateralus This could be debated for hours, but in my most humble opinion, this comes out on top of a very strong catalog.
Clutch - Blast Tyrant I don't know the whole album that well, but it's my instant favorite simply for the lyrics in "The Mob Goes Wild" i.e. - "Please allow me to adjust my pants/so that I may dance the good-time dance" and "Condaleeza Rice is nice/But I prefer A-Roni"
Gotta give some love to Clutch, and if there's one lesser-known artist worth checking out this year, it's them. (Though I'm sure there are many others.
