Has anyone considered the possibility of the most underrated band of all time playing this year's Bonnaroo?? That's right folks, I'm talking about none other than Little Feat!!! According to my information, Feat are playing the 10,000 Lakes Festival on July 21st, and there is a gap in their touring schedule from June 11 - June 20. This would be the greatest addition to the Bonnaroo lineup! Back me up fellow Feat fans. Hoy hoy!

Where to begin... where to begin... The truth of the matter is that Little Feat was in their prime during the Lowell George era, essentially throughout the 1970s. The best place to start is with the live album Waiting For Columbus. Studio-wise, you can't go wrong with Dixie Chicken, Feats Don't Fail Me Now, and Sailin' Shoes. That being said, having seen these guys three times in the past year, they still rock out like no other. Hope that helps you out.

I think for it to truly be the "greatest" Bonnaroo addition they would have to resurrect Lowell George on stage.
But back in the realm of the possible, yes, Little Feat would a helluva act to sign-on. If I hadn't already bought my ticket, they would be one of those acts that would push me over the edge to go.
i went through their archives list and noticed they played gratefulfest in 2005. started listening to that one and its great stuff. cant wait to catch them at 10klf and i will also hope for a roo add! we need more taditional roo flavor!!

This would be a dream...Little Feat rocks it. I have a july 19 1973 show at Ebbets Field on my comp that is like a religious experience listening to it...Love me some Little Feat

The '73 Ebbets Field shows were my introduction to Little Feat. Needless to say I haven't looked back. These shows are just insanely good. Impossible to listen to them and not groove out. Impossible! Bring them to the 'Roo!!!
To state the obvious, Lowell George can not be replicated. But hand it to these guys for the fortitude and love of music to continue on. The core band is still there and they have always been one of the tightest bands musically out there. I would welcome their addition. The 4 CD set Hotcakes and Outtakes is a treasure and will cover all the Feat that you will need
Little Feat would be great - would take me back in time - my hubby proposed to me 4 1/2 years ago in New Orleans right before we went to see Little Feat at The House of Blues

And it appears Little Feat is also playing the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival. Seems like they're definately doing the festival circuit. This lends more hope that they may be added to the Bonnaroo lineup. Please let it be so!!!
