The Police are busy in Vancouver, Canada rehearsing for their forthcoming world tour and fans will get a veritable "best of" the five studio albums.
While some of the more obscure tracks such as Tea In The Sahara from 1983's Synchronicity and Rehumanize Yourself from 1981's Ghost In The Machine have been given a dust-off, the final set list is still a ways from being finalized.
Fans need not worry. This is going to be a greatest hits show. Every Police song is being rehearsed for the tour.

Anyone think they'll play any covers? I know its a reunion tour and all, but one of my favorite things about roo is all the cover songs. Petty dropped a lot of classics I wasn't expecting last year.
I know. I love the Police. But I was 11 years old in 83 and you couldn't escape that song no matter where you went. I also don't like Wrapped around Your Finger. Talk about MTV overplaying stuff back in the day. Killed it for me.
Hmm, 26 songs on that list, sounds good. Now if they'll just play all 26 of those, then I'm sure we'll have a helluva Bonnaroo set. Message in a Bottle second would be huge

'Can't Stand Losing You' has always been my favorite Police tune - there's a great version on disc 1 (and 2 for that matter) of the Live album. I'm psyched to see it on the list - but what's with no 'Be My Girl/Sally' - that just kills live.

And where the hell is Regatta De Blanc?
Regatta de Blanc is definantly a live signature song by the Police. I love that song! They usually play Regatta de Blanc in the middle of Can't Stand Losing You (like they did at the recent LA Whisky press show. So no worries, you'll probably get to hear it. Check out the live CD or the Synchronicity DVD and you can see how they usually do the Can't Stand Losing/Regatta medley. Probably a set closer or encore song.
They can play anything they want as far as I'm concerned, I luv it all. The great thing is that they will have a couple weeks on tour before thet hit Roo, so they should be in syncrinicity by June 16
