Definantly THE POLICE. I have been listening to them since 1981 (Zenyatta Mondatta album), and would rank them as one of my top favorite bands of all time. They were my first favorite band in elementary school that wasn't something that either my parents listened to, or all of the other kids were listening to (like Kiss or AC/DC).
I am pleasantly surprised and happy that so many of you are psyched about TOOL! I have seen them twice, and they are amazing live! Definantly my favorite heavy alternative/metal/prog-rock band of all time!
But the band that I am most excited about seeing other then the Police is actually Wolfmother. I love their debut album. And I am very excited about Kings of Leon and White Stripes, but it will make my second viewing of both of them.... so the winner is definantly going to The Police, since it will be the first time ever seeing them. Hooray for such a good lineup!
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me. Hunter S. Thompson
No man is so foolish but he may sometimes give another good counsel, and no man so wise that he may not easily err if he takes no other counsel than his own. He that is taught only by himself has a fool for a master. Hunter S. Thompson
My musical taste has morphed and evolved in diffrent directions alot over my years. ( 24 now )
but Tool is one of the few bands I haven't lost any love for.
Never seen them live and cant think of a better place to see them for the first time.
Now I just hope they play Eulogy
Eulogy is the one song i've wanted to hear live that they didnt play when i saw them. I'm also hoping for the salival version of pushit, since i've got to hear the Aenima version live already!

Last year we had a similar thread and comparing last year's poll to this leads me to believe that The White Stripes are going to be jam packed like Beck was last year. They'll be the most crowded non-headliner.
Off of the list provided, my vote went to The Lips though Police were close because of the once in a lifetime thing factor, but I am most looking forward to... SCI STS9 Gov't Mule Sasha & Digweed The Roots Keller (WMD) Galactic Aesop Rock Junior Brown
