Has anyone seen these two live yet? I have seen clips of them playing and I can't recall many who can play an acoustic guitar at a fast pace the way they can. I am actually seeing them a week from today in NYC, so I will let you guys know how that is. Here is a clip in case you don't know what they are capable of:

They were scheduled for Langerado but did not play. Work visa issues or something kept them form making it there. The Lee Boys took their spot without any info released before hand so many people showed up to see R&G but they were not there.

that was totally weak, especially cuz they were one of the only 2 bands i even cared to see on sunday.
I saw these guys on Letterman and bought the cd the next day. I hope they play during the hottest part of the day because Latin flava + hot sun = summertime.

The Letterman performance was good, but personally I'd rather see Kaki King. While I was amazed at RyG's tighness and virtuosity, artists like that get old fast when there aren't solid compositions to back up the technical prowess, and IMO that tune wasn't terribly interesting... y'know, outside of the face-melting guitar playing.
I just received an email that the Nashville show by RYG has been cancelled. That SUCKS! I was psyched to see them in this small club. LIGuy: I hope they still make your show. Let us know if they play or not.
And I hope they make the Roo. Does anyone know the reason why they've cancelled? Someone mentioned work visa issues. What are the chances they will make the Roo?
