not sure about his stage presence, but it's "A Fukin sop rock mic bizarro", it will be a good set, more so if you are a fan and get his style a little better. O yeah and he is gonna be there with Rob Sonic, Rob's album Telecatessan is genius, pick it up to further wet your thistle
i've been listening to aesop for years, and imo he is a true living legend , i recommend any of his albums but suggest picking up float or labor days to get started.
An Aesop Rock show at the Metro in Chicago was one of the best hip-hop shows I've ever seen. His stage presence is amazing, and a room full of kids screaming "All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day, put the pieces back together my way" at the top of their lungs is fun.
I saw him in a (much smaller than Roo) festival atmosphere last year at Pitchfork, and it was not quite as electrifying (it was an afternoon set), but I still had a blast. He literally looked like he had just rolled out of bed, but he brought it.
Both shows were with Mr. Lif, the first one he was pretty much the "back-up" MC, the second one they were more sharing the bill. I like Lif a lot, but I preferred the former set-up.
Here's hoping for a late night set. Definitely has a chance to be one of the best sets of the weekend.

I just started getting into the Aesop stuff - I like what I've heard so far. Really glad to see Mr. Lif's name - we caught him with the perceptionists 2-3 roo's ago late night. We were right up front and had an amazing time, tons of energy.
