there a lot, the ones that youll most likely hear at a concert are yeah yeah yeah song the w.a.n.d. yoshimi battles the pink robots pt.1 she dont use jelly and of course...do you realize
Why does everyone seem to neglect In A Priest Driven Ambulance? Such a great album, Shine On Sweet Jesus & Five Stop Mother Superior Rain are fantastic tracks, and remain my favorite Lips songs.
That said, you can't go wrong with either Yoshimi or the Soft Bulletin, and those two are the most exhalted for good reasons. But I feel they paint a rather inaccurate picture of the Lips as a very mellow band.
Personal faves: -The aforementioned Shine On Sweet Jesus -The also aforementioned Five Stop Mother Superior Rain -The Gash -Free Radicals (seems to annoy a lot of people, but I love it. It's so FUNKY) -Goin' On -Fight Song -Chrome-Plated Suicide
As someone said, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is just a masterpiece, that in whole should be gotten.
but just a few songs:
One More Robot/Sympathy 3000-21 Fight Test Are You a Hypnotist?? Do You Realize Shine On Sweet Jesus She Don't Use Jelly Yeah Yeah Yeah Song (one of the catchiest songs ever written, IMO) Free Radicals W.A.N.D.

EEEEEEE! I adore Fight Test. And our youngest absolutely loves Yoshime. Crank it up and she sings and dances her way around the room. There are lots more wonderful songs of course. Those are just two of my favorites

Waiting for a Superman What is that Light

I'll throw my two cents in real quick: The Golden Age by Beck off of "Yoshimi Wins: Radio Sessions" and The Spiderbite Song. And Fight Test and Feeling Yourself Disintegrate.

THe Wizard Turns on.... is my favorite song. Its an instrumental but its great. I also like Free Radical (both of these songs are on "At War With the Mystics").

:)Psychiatric Explorations of the Fetus With Needles (its so hard to get this song out of your head) from Clouds Taste Metallic
Up Above The Daily Hum (which should have been put on Yoshimi after Ego Tripping At The Gates of Hell)
:)The Gash (used to be a huge crowd participation sing-along...they haven't done it in awhile)
;D Feeling Yourself Disintegrate (since soft bulletin really seems to me to be one piece, in the sense of the "concept album" though that may be an outdated term, you really need to hear that song in its place in that album. But for that matter the Soft Bulletin in one of the best rock albums anybody ever made .
:)This Here Giraffe (also from Clouds Taste Metallic)
Riding to Work in the Year 2025 (Your Invisible Now) (from the insane, awesome, four cd madness that is Zaireeka)
Unconsciously Screamin (from In a Preist Driven Ambulance)
and the best song they have written to date i think is Vein of Stars (which they have played at most shows on this tour so you should get to hear it at the 'Roo show)
Story is that at the last Roo performance the Lips played stuff from Darkside of The Moon maybe they'll bust out some treat like that for us this year....
In any case if you miss every other performer at the festival, see the Flips show. You absolutely will not see another rock show like it anywhere. And you won't forget it
