What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Yeah...I'm going to the Chicago show. I think it's absolute BULLSHIT that a band this great is only doing like 11 North American dates...and NOT A DAMN ONE IN THE SOUTH! I've loved this band since Moon Safari, and saw them in Atlanta on the Talkie Walkie tour.
They sent out an email saying thanks because they had their highest charting first week sales ever in America with Pocket Symphony. I went to a midnight sale to get it. And now I have to drive 8 hours to see them. But whatever. I guess I should just be happy that I get to see them at all.

So, how did you like the album? I wasn't absolutely crazy about Talkie Walkie or 10,000 Hertz, but definitely LOVE Moon Safari and Premiers Symptomes. I am waiting to buy it...

I like Pocket Symphony so far. I don't think it's as good as Talkie Walkie, but then again, I've only had it for 2 days. I'll reserve my final judgement until after the weekend.

I love the new album. I've learned to take each Air album on its own merits. The difference between Moon Safari and 10,000 Hz was massive and a lot of people hated it, but I tend to enjoy the wacked-out dancey-type Air better than the laid back Air. I was a little disappointed that there was only one upbeat song on the new album (Mer du Japon) and it's really short, but I relish in the space of the down tempo songs too, so it's all good to me. They really can do no harm in my book. I definitely enjoyed Talkie Walkie too. Their live show is a spectacle to behold though....just brilliant.
