it looks like the dates on the zappa plays zappa site are wrong. says the tour starts monday may 15, but there is no monday may 15....15 of may is a tues. maybe im missing something but it looks like the current tour and all the dates are a day off. during roo weekend their schedule says they have a date open on sunday june 17, but they have a date on saturday (16th) but list it as saturdy the 17th. confusing but im keeping my fingers crossed! I suppose those dates could be from last year though.

well, this is good news if it is accurate. The only ZPZ dates the Family Trust has even hinted at in 2007 are down under, and I was worried there would be no US dates in 07. I've been asking for ZPZ at Roo since last year, and an 07 appearance would put this year's fest over the top IMO.

while ZPZ w/ Vai would be sweet, I think ZPZ w/ adrian Belew would be more probable (and more special) at Roo, since Belew lives so close and has showed up at Roo before.

^^ played with zpz? I dunno, but of course Belew played for Zappa in the late 70s, the only record I definately can say he played on was Sheik Yerbouti.

I have not heard of Belew playing w/ ZPZ yet, only Vai, Nappy and Bozzio. Belew also played on the Baby Snakes record, and contributed to a number of tracks in the You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore series.
