PE is celebrating 20 years this year and they have been very careful in the Rock the Bells promotional material to say that Public Enemy is NOT part of the "exclusive" lineup. After a headlining slot at SXSW, PE hits a spring American tour through May...
It doesn't take a genius to see that they are doing some grand things for this reunion and I expect PE to show up at either Lolla, Virgin or Roo. Or all three.
But seriously, for me having PE and The Police at the same festival would make my head explode. How cool?
I'd take pretty much any group off the Rock the Bells lineup (we already have the Roots, but any others)... Superfly, if you're out there - we need more hip-hop!
