I figured that since we made top 10 lists following the initial announcement, we may as well see how these additions shake things up.
So, now that you've had the time to check out more of the artists, and the additions came, who are the top 10 artists on your list?
Here is my initial top 10*:
1. The White Stripes 2. The Police 3. Keller 4. Ben Harper 5. Flaming Lips 6. SCI 7. North Mississippi All-Stars 8. Manu Chao 9. The Black Keys 10. Ween
My revised top 10:
1. The White Stripes 2. The Police 3. The Black Keys 4. Keller 5. Harper 6. NMAS 7. Manu Chao 8. Orenette Coleman 9. SCI 10. Flaming Lips
____________________________________ I figure I ought to explain myself as well:
The Black Keys made a big jump. I had a few of their songs before the announcement, and certainly appreciated them. After downloading a few more, I was hooked. Within 48 hours I had all their albums. Great stuff, highly recommended.
Keller and Harper remain high on the list; I've seen both of them, and they are both amazing, which is both the reason they are such a high priority, and the reason they are not as important as The Police, White Stripes, and Black Keys.
NMAS jumped up for two reasons, I gained a stronger appreciation for them and if Robert is going to be anywhere that weekend, it will at least be there.
Manu Chao was initially on my top 10 based on the hype around him. Upon actually listening to him I'm even more excited. He's going to make me dance and have fun.
Ornette Coleman is the only newcomer to the list; talented guy and one of those "diamonds in the rough" that Bonnaroo has come to provide us with.
FLips and SCI fell because I've seen them before (together in fact). Don't get me wrong, both played great shows, but when it comes to Bonnaroo, I lean on the side of artists I've never seen before (except for Keller and Harper of course, there are exceptions in the case of unbelievable performers).

Initially I was all about: 1.The Police 2.Tool 3.White Stripes 4.Wolfmother 5.Ween 6.Kings of Leon 7.Clutch 8.Black Keys 9.STS9 10.Mute Math
but since listening to newer stuff over the last month or so, here is who I am most psyched about seeing at my 1st Roo
1.THE POLICE!!!! (this will not change; i have never seen them and they have been one of my top 3 favorite bands since 1981; so I am camping out all day on the mainstage to see them) 2.BLACK ANGELS (LOVE this band! Can't stop listening to them) 3.TOOL (have seen them twice, they are just amazing live) 4.WHITE STRIPES (seen 'em once already....incendiary!) 5.BEN HARPER (Shoot me....but I just opened my mind to his music in the last couple of weeks; absolutely love what I have heard so far (Burn To Shine and Will To Live albums), and since I am camping out on the mainstage all day Saturday to see The Police, I hope/ assume that I will be seeing Ben Harper there as well) 6.WOLFMOTHER (please Bonnaroo, oh please don't put them at the same time as the White Stripes! Put them on the mainstage early in the day before Wilco/White Stripes/Widespread Panic and EVERY rock fan will be happy at the Roo this year! I saw these guys play live at the Jimmy Kimmel show....alot of people are going to be surprised that such a hard rock band can really go into lengthy jam sessions) 7.KINGS OF LEON (gonna' see them at Coachella before the Roo; otherwise, they would be higher; LOVE their 2nd album, like what I've heard of the new one) 8.CLUTCH (will see them as long as they don't conflict with the Black Angels; another hard rockin' 'jam' band) 9.BLACK KEYS (probably will see them at Coachella, but I will definantly catch their whole set at the Roo) 10. FLAMING LIPS (never seen them; want to see one of their crazy stage peformances for myself; hope Wayne breaks out with the bubble)
Still looking forward to hopefully seeing STS9, Mute Math, Ziggy Marley, Wilco, Ornette Coleman (nice add!), the Nightwatchman, Gillian Welch, and Ralph Stanley.
Unfortunately, Ween is no longer on my list. Since they are not playing on the mainstage on Saturday, and I am definantly going to camp out there all day to see The Police (not to mention KOL and hopefully Ben Harper), I will have to sacrifice one of the bands that I really wanted to see for THE band that I have wanted to see more then ANY band for the longest time.....( I have been a Ween fan for about 7 years, but still haven't seen them live)
