Something I've been following for a bit now, and am extremely excited about. I really don't think I can articulate how excited I've been since I first heard about it.
I still have to catch Evil Dead The Musical before it stops.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

Now, Wayne, about Christmas On Mars .......
hahahahah
i've started to wonder if it's even real
It is. It's just dragged on for so long because of various reasons. I think Kliph said it would definitely be out by X-Mas this year or something along those lines.

25 years from now, Christmas on Mars is going to be another one of those rumored rock legends: Zeppelin "fishing" the mudshark groupie, Ozzy snorting a line of fire ants, and Kieth Richards inhaling his fathers ashes with a line of cocaine. Yoshimi the musical will be great nonetheless. The Lips seem to get progressively more grand every year. Lets just hope that they take it on tour.

Funny, but not true. Christmas on Mars is no Chinese Democracy. It got massively delayed due to Stevens heroin addiction. I can't remember the exact time frame, but if you search the FLips message board Kliph says something about them wrapping it up and releasing it within the next year. Kliph is their tour drummer and is always "in the know" with the band. When he decides to go out and say something like that it carries some weight. Wayne has worked very hard on this project over the years, and most definitely wants to release it. All you need to do is watch the documentary The Fearless Freaks to know that.
To me, the movie will be an interesting watch, but I'm in it for the tunes. I'll support anything Wayne does, but I still don't have high hopes for it being a great piece of cinema. .

Sorry your highness. I'll try to leave my sense of humor at the door next time I post a message.
WTF??? Stop being so sensitive. Your post made me laugh my ass off earlier. Sorry, maybe I should have expressed it more and fed your ego instead of trying to let you know whats going on with the project.
