Since the last addition was actually dated (March 28th), and the rest were not..plus some other things........I have a theory...
The next info they send out will also be an artist addition..and since their dated, there will be no confusion...the next one saying 4-4-07 and so....
I think Bonnaroo has some names to add (they said 100plus) as well as info...like events, activities...special green announcements, and whats new for this year...
I bet now until June, we get infor every WENS!!!!
Being dated...week after week..it will look like Bonnaroo adds the band every week, although us die hards know we waited forever.
Anyone else buying my theory!!!
Today at 12:37 i bet we get some artist additions!!!!
I also think we'll get near-weekly announcements between now and June. A mix of artist adds, cafe stage acts, activities, info, etc. Ashley Capps (AC of AC entertainment) hinted at that in a recent post on Asheville's Orange Peel web messageboard (theorangepeel.net). He said this year is shaping up to be "amazing." Take it for what it's worth.

Karma for our new poster.....
Just because of the long wait earlier doesn't mean they won't start spitting them out. Bonnaroo (believe it or not) is rather random. I've seen additions two days apart in past years...just look at the roots announcement (uhhh....) Just odd.
I got five bucks on today being the next addition day.. And Altfan....lets hope we are right..... 7 days is perfect to learn or spotlight another five artist.....
I dont know about artist additions coming around again too soon but I agree that we should start getting activities or attractions (art of such n' such maybe?)
It seems like it would just be easier to disperse them over the next 70 days evenly then try and come out with everything in May.

I don't think a lot of people caught this, because it was said about 2 hours before the artist additions came, but atlfan had this to say:

I have from a VERY credible source that we'll get an artist addition either today or tomorrow... followed by a series of weekly announcements with "all sorts of cool additions." To quote him, "this is shaping up to be an amazing Bonnaroo if I do say so myself...:
I'm not sure if he was referrring to Ashley Capps or not, but this makes me think your theory is correct. I anticipate some kind of news today, hopefully artist additions.

Such n' Such is definitely going to be there again (with an increased budget, I believe). The bass player in my band is a member.
Yes, I was referring to Ashley Capps last week. I'm the one who baited him on the OP board and got a response. Was hesitant to burn the "bridge" at first, but anyone who visits the OP site can see his pretty regular posts.

with the amount additions to come, it would seem that more regular additions are a real possibility. But, i've had my hopes up for a long time now, and the additions have not even temporarily quenched my thirst. Hey, maybe that's what they want me to do, forget about it for a while (a minute), then, BAM, surprise, surprise.

I do agree with this theory. I see us having something new every wednesday. There's just too much stuff that they haven't announced yet for them not to start firing out new adds to the festival.

12:37 Thursday I got an e-mail. Nothing we hadn't already seen on the site, but I hadn't realized the time was always the same. Or was it just coincidence...

wow..it was kwinky dink..... I just pulled a number out my arse....
On a side note.... These interviews are horrible. Fountain of Wayne one is pointless, and everytime I show someone the BOB Weir one...I get mad at how he thinks of us roo kids...rookies. He thinks like an accountant...
Although it looks like Ornette will definitly be jamming with him!!!

^Yeah I was really suprised when I saw that. I think even the guy interviewing him had to have been a bit shocked to hear that. Artists usually bring their A-Game to 'Roo. Personally, I don't see playing the most popular songs as a way to make the performance a memorable one.

Bobbys interview kinda got under my skin too. like roo cats cant handle some melt your face improv. and it almost seemed like he harbored a little jealousy at jerry too. maybe he was just saying that he didnt think most of us listen to ratdog. I myself dont, but bobby was always one of my least fav. dead members too.

(Karma +1) Agreed. I have respect for all of them. But Weir never really was my favorite. I always liked the rhythm section the best. If you listen closely, you can tell that Kreutzman and Phil were the one who held down the beats like concrete to all their jams.
