Hey guys whats up, my name is Nick and im from Woodstock, NY. Im new here and havent yet been to Bonnaroo but have been wanting to go since I saw the 06 lineup just havent had the money or people to go with. I have only been to a few concerts in my life, Atmosphere, Foo Fighters, Gym Class Heroes(when they were just a pretty small local band, I dont care much for there new stuff), Woodstock 94 (I was like 6 at the time but my mom had a booth). My friend went last year and im going with him and a few other people this year, were all really excited. My favorite artists include: Bob Marley (legend will forever be the best album of all time), The Roots, Atmosphere, P.O.S., Wolfmother, RHCP, Lupe Fiasco, Talib, Jack Johnson, The White Stripes, Raconteurs, Led Zep, Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Cold War Kids, Arctic Monkeys, Cunninlynguists, Squeeze, Tenacious D (that would we effin awesome if they were there), Jet, Ben Harper, Hendrix, Outkast, Roling Stones, ZZ Top, Priestess, Kings of Leon, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Damien Marley, Helicopter you know what the list could honestly go on forever, but as you can see Im pretty diverse in my music tastes.
I have a few questions for you guys (or girls) that have attended Roo before:
Would you reccomend a tent or should we rent an RV? Right now we there are enough of us where if we were to rent an RV it wouldnt be THAT expensive and I heard it gets ridiculously hot at nights and in the morning in tents.
Is bringing alcohol and any other substances easy to bring in or can I get all that there no problem? Whats the costs of all of this around (I try to stay away from synthetics and stay natural so I dont need anyone to talk about other things).
What should I absolutely not miss before leaving Manchester, TN.?
What are the chances that the Flight of the Conchords, Kings of Leon and Cold War Kids come back? And the chances Arctic Monkeys get invited?
