Wow, I was surprised to see this name on here. Leo's one of the few artists I was actually turned onto by my Father. The man (Dad) is completely tone deaf and could never hold a tune for his life, but he did enjoy great lyricists.
Last I heard about him, his accountant stole millions from him and he's pretty much flat broke. Well, at least flat broke for a musician of his caliber thats been around this long. He also married 30-something year old last year I believe.
I guess it's possible considering it's Bonnaroo, but I'd doubt it. If memory serves, he hasn't really toured much at all in the past 2 decades.
OP gets back to even Karma for mentioning a great.

^ yeah he was. I loved ALL of his older stuff, 60s and 70s, some of his later stuff is kinda iffy to me. But, how can you count out a man who writes, in the 90s:
"Give me crack and anal sex Take the only tree that's left and stuff it up the hole in your culture"

Ehh, my friends have ripped on me for listening to everything from Abba to Mingus. I just think it's a shame when people don't listen to something that moves them just because they're worried about what others will think.
All the lyrics from The Future are amazing. I remember watching Natural Born Killers for the first time and getting excited when I knew the song. Always did freak my parents out a bit hearing me sing those lyrics

Yeah I don't think it holds up to his older stuff but it's definitely respectable (and actually better than some of his crappy early 80's stuff like Izitso). I would just love to see him play live... I grew up on his music and he has a wealth of amazing material...
I'd also love to see Stevie Wonder at the Roo. He's another songwriting supergenius that doesn't play out much anymore. I know he's cut his share of cheesy records over the past 20 years but he has enough classic material to put on a great show.
Another idea: Brian Wilson. He's one of the great American songwriters of all time and he's got a killer band right now, recreating his masteful arrangements on Smile and Pet Sounds. He'd make a great mainstage daytime artist and bring some groovy, good vibrations to the Roo!
Prince would be sick too, although he'd bring in a huge pop crowd which might be kinda lame. He'd be the ultimate surprise late night artist though!
