First off, hello everyone, I'm Byron. I'm a freshman at the University of Alabama. I play in the Million Dollar Band. this will be my first Bonnaroo and my first festival. I'm pretty pumped. My favorite bands are Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Joy Division, Flaming Lips, Wilco, Interpol, Explosions in the Sky, Modest Mouse, Fugazi, Pink Floyd, TV on the Radio, Arcade Fire, Aesop Rock, etc etc.
Next order of business: there is a live stream of a Wilco show in australia going up at 6 am US Central Time on Saturday (April 21, on the wilco site.), just wanted to let you all know. Anyway, who is excited to see them? I'm slowly becoming a huge Wilco fan myself. I checked out Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, like, umm... EVERYONE. I didn't think it was genius or anything. Like, a year later, they have totally sunk in, and I'm digging their entire body of work. They are playing the last day, I hope what will be an epic 2 hour set.
I cannot stress how stoked I am for Bonnaroo. Thanks for reading, I look forward to discussing nuts with you and maybe seeing some faces up there in Tennesee.

Welcome to Inforoo, Byron! I'm a Million Dollar Band drumline vet myself. This will be my third Roo, and I can tell you you're in for the time of your life.

I'm excited for Wilco too. YHF is an excellent excellet album!
Last year Sun Volt was the last show I saw before leaving Bonnaroo and it ranks in my top 5 shows for 'ROO '06. Once upon a time, way back in '94 a great band split up- Uncle Tupelo. UT split up into two bands... Sun Volt and Wilco with Jeff Tweedy heading up Wilco and Jay Farrar with Sun Volt. Both bands released albums this year!
Thought the bands have very different sounds, if you like Wilco you should check out Sun Volt (and uncle tupelo!)
