Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Well the good news (or maybe bad news) is that I still have nothing better to do, so it returns again!
Just to reiterate: I considered a variety of factors, including what day the band is rumored to play, where the band is listed in the 'roo homepage artist list (how high/how low), and who the band might want to play before/after (guest appearances).
Please remember this is all in fun - don't take anything too seriously. We'll know the real schedule soon enough.
For Friday it appears there may be an early spot open somewhere - perhaps there's gonna be a late addition to fill this spot. I went with String Cheese late night, but I'm not completely sold on this for sure yet.

Edit 4/26: Moved Nightwatchman to Fri Edit 5/13: Moved Manu Chao to late night, added M&M late night, moved SCI to daytime Edit 5/17: Removed M&M (Jazz Tent)
For Saturday, I added to 2 biggest unannounced acts: Ziggy Marley and Franz Ferdinand. It seems like they'll have to be there, given the otherwise open timeslots. Also - late night doesn't neccesarily end at 4, I just chose to end the schedule then.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
Nightwatchman on the Which Stage, wow. I think that's a bit of a stretch. Other thing I'm not sure of, you gave Ween a massive time slot, but in a tent. I think they may warrant Which Stage, in place of Franz Ferdinand.
well based on the one you posted last year, i think you have a lot of credibility because that was -amazingly- close on the vast majority of artists.
i HATE the 5:30-7 time slot every day, its just conflict after conflict...the worst being the ben harper/ween/galactic/keller clusterf-ck on saturday at 6.
the only thing i adamantly disagree with is sasha & digweed will not start their set before 3am, guaranteed

John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
this is an awesome format. yet another use for excel?
of course, i see some conflicts for my musical tastes.
but nice job!!
It's actually a table function in the text we post (just like adding a smiley or bold text) - probably not the easiest thing, but it's the only way you can get it up in a thread.

ok, so im a newbie. its my first year. in actuality, if i have a conflict... what is the possibility of being able to see more than one band in a time slot. how far are the stages.. this is based on the 5:30 - 8:00 slots.
its possible to see 2-3 bands at the most with the bands playing at least an hour and a half sets and sometimes the band on the main stage for the 5:30 set may play a 2 hour set.
edit: I want to add that if you decide to do some stage jumping you may not get a good spot if you are checking out artists in the tents.

80 bands so far, by the way are you missing any artists from the original list and where would be spots for any unannounced bands (like a big announcement such as Mars Volta or maybe a Praxis)? Also since I am a noob to roo do they ever have bands up against headliners or are they no matter what the only act in town? One other thing, what are the other stages names for the smaller bands? Other than those questions, I would be very content with that schedule I would still be able to see the majority of my most wanted bands.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

I think I've got everything off the original list except for the Cafe artists and the Yard Dogs Road Show (who are supposed to have their own thing). I didn't do any plan for the sonic stage, cafe stage, troo music lounge, comedy tent, etc. - that's too difficult to predict.
Good job, that's not a bad mock schedule, if it's close to that, I'll be happy. Biggest conflicts for me would be Wolfmother/White Stripes, and on Thursday The Annuals/Tea Leaf Green/Rodrigo Y Gabriela.
gah, if that were the real schedule i would be happy up until sunday afternoon when the conflicts roll in wilco v decemberists v feist white stripes v regina spektor
the worst part is that i can see these problems coming up for me
