I was just thinking about the late night situation. Isn't it possible that they could put DJ Shadow --> STS9, both being electronic music? Boy, late night could really be a traffic jam as well...
i would be happy to take a little lucy and go to the jazz tent during panic or the police... as I will be seeing the police at Live Earth and Virgin Festival.

he could still be in a tent too, but i read franz ferdinand was playing thursday, maybe keller takes that assumed spot on the which stage after damien rice...
well, since we still don't a real schedule, I made a couple NMAS-related moves to try to stay up to date. Thanks to heymannn87 for his helpful suggestions (some of which I borrowed)
I would not bet on Richard Thompson in the early afternoon (like 2:30--that's what's on the original proposed grid, right?)
He and band are coming down from a gig in Kentucky, about a 5-hour trip. I don't know when they're traveling, but I bet they'll want some sleep. And their sound guys are both very picky and very powerful--I bet they'll press for a later set if it means enough time to get everything right.

Okay here are my conflicts:
Thurs: 1) See Black Angels and Clutch, or just tea Leaf Green (then maybe head over to watch the end of Clutch). See if I skip Black Angels I can still see them at Lolla, but if I miss TLG I may not see them ever,
Friday: 1) Nightwatchman vs Brazilian Girls (I'm leaning towards the girls) 2) Kings of Leon vs Cold War kids (KOL by a long shot) 3) Tough one...Black Keys vs String Cheese vs The Roots (I'm leaning towards Black keys - maybe the roots) 4) Friday late night - no clue, any recommendations?
Saturday: 1) Spoon vs Gogol Bordello (I'm leaning towards GB) 2) Marley vs Damien Rice vs The Hold steady (no clue - might depend on what mood I'm in) 3) Lips vs Mule vs Sasha (this conflict really sucks, cause I wanted to see all 3) - I'm thinking Lips then Sasha, even though I'm prefer to see some late night jams
Sunday: White Stripes, Bob Weir, or Superjam (I was hoping to catch all 3, but it's tough...I'm seeing the Stripes twice in Ontario in July, so I may learn towards Bob weir...again depends on how I feel at the time I'm sure...will be hard to pass up Jack White).

I thought about it, but I'd prefer to catch whole sets and be close. If I see all three I'm gonna be way at the back for Mule (Sasha I don't care how close I am).

My whole schedule is okay until the Saturday afternoon. Ben Harper, Ween, Galactic, and Keller is hard to choose from. I might have to make it a game time decision and just follow my ears to the best sounding tent/stage.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
my biggest conflict would probably be Girl Talk vs. Flaming Lips, but I think I can manage both since the Flaming Lips will be playing longer...Black Keys vs. the Roots is a pretty tough one too
