I just heard on Sirius 17 Jam Bands that Electric Apricot: Quest For Festeroo will be nationally distributed to theatres by the great folks of National Lampoon. Just figured you guys would like to hear that since there was a rumor on here about Electric Apricot playing roo.
By the way there is a mysterious smiter out there who are you and why are you smiting me!?!
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
There was a mysterious smiter out there a couple of weeks ago too. I usually try to stay positive around here, since everyone else is too, generally, so I don't know what happened. I just come back one weekend and I'm down from like...7 to 2.
Great news. I wanted to see this movie last year but never go around to it. WOuld love to see what Les does with a movie. Did anyone see this movie last year?
I saw it last year in the cinema tent. Kind of like a jam-band version of "A Mighty Wind".
It was funny, but the tent was stupid-crowded, so that probably affected my memory of the experience the most. I would definitely see it again in a more comfortable setting.

Mitch and Micky should play a tent. The Folksman should be on the Which stage. The New Main Street Singers should play Sunday at noon on the Solar Stage.

they're showing it again this year.
Sweet. Maybe I can actually see it this year. Haha. Last year I got stuck waaaay in the back behind all the chairs and couches and whanot, and a good chunk of the bottom of the screen was cut off from my view. The air conditioning was nice though.
