I have to say that I'm really looking forward to Wednesday the 13th! It will all start for me as soon as Mr. Claypool hits the stage, here in Atlanta! I'll go home, catch a little sleep (yeah, right) and head for Manchester!

This is somewhat related.........
It's interesting how the days seem to blend together while you are there. I think it's because the music goes from about 12:30-7:30, 8:30-12:00, and then 12:30-5:00, so it barely stops, ya know? I think that's why by Sunday afternoon you feel like you've been at the festival for a week. At least it seems that way to me.
But back to what you guys were talking about. I think Thursday, Friday, Saturaday, and Sunday are looking pretty nice.

The apparent Saturday run of Ween --> The Police --> The Flaming Lips definatly puts Saturday over the top for me. Add to that Sasha & Diggweed, Hot Tuna, Dr. Dog and Gogol Bordello (Plus Keller and Morello) makes Sat the hands down fav.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
I like Friday for the number of bands that I want to see (9 bands that I really would like to see, so I know that there are going to be some crapola bonflicts). But.......Saturday is going to be the day that really brings it on home, because I am expecting to see two all time legendary sets that people will be talking about for years to come (The Police and The Lips). Not to piss anyone off but my own personal opinion, is that Sunday is the weakest of the days. I am sure that has alot to do with the lack of late night shows on Sunday.
I hope that Superjam moves back to Sunday, but it will probably go against White Stripes, which is my big band to see on Sunday. I am also hoping that Franz and David Cross will be playing on Sunday to fill that day out for me. It is probably a good thing that I dont have too much planned for Sunday, because that is when I start to fade and usually sleep in too long after a crazy Saturday night.
You really can't complain about any of the days, I am sure that we are all going to have some crazy experiences. We should make a poll (once the actual schedule comes out) to see what days everyone thinks is going to be the best and then a poll after the festival to see what day everyone thought was the best, as a before and after type thing.
