not counting comedy and cafe acts and not counting jazz acts this year there are 80 artists. i counted 84 last year and 80 the year before that. so yea, if they follow the same setup, 4 more can be added. but it could be different this year.
yep...i counted 80 as well. made a dvd set (2 dvd's) with 1 album from every artist appearing at 'roo. great to play on random and get a feel for bands i don't know much about.
thats not a good enough reason just say its because its not on a stage and its in a tent.. U cant single out a type of music like that.. What are u racist lol

Jazz is great music! Complex and beautifully subtle at the same time. All of the music that you will hear at Roo ultimately comes from jazz or country or both. If a living legend like Ornette Coleman counts as a musician, other jazz artisits should too.

I think what the original poster ment by not counting the Jazz tent for the fact they have their own area just like the cafe acts and the comedians...I don't look at it as a putdown on the jazz artists at all.I think he was just count the artists on the stages and tents.
I took my dad to see BB King at the House of Blues it was a incredible experience probably one ill never forget I was so close and i dunno my dad influenced me into the blues. But your story is awesome, i wish i talk to bb king..
