"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

Luther Dickinson is an amazing guitarist. When he and Robert Randolph start trading licks, it's a sight to behold. And his brother Cody is, without any doubt, the finest electric washboard player I've ever seen on the What Stage. (I don't think it's even debatable).

Everytime I get an email from Bonnaroo I get excited, and then I find it's just a bunch of Police Sweepstakes and an interview, albeit a decent one. Still, the only news I want from Roo right now is the schedule
NMA's are ma boys!!!!! Living in Memphis and being a musician I've seen alot of these guys and THEY ARE AMAZING. They've gained alot of momentum here in these last few years. I caught them in downtown Memphis for New Years and they did a pretty good show. I had one of Luther's guitar teachers for a couple years and have met him numerous times. I've also smoked with the band once before at the Memphis Shell and also have hung out with Cody a few times at some local Memphis parties. I used to have a friend who was sleeping around with him at the time so he was around quite a bit. There some good ole boys that love to party and play!!!!!
