Just wanted to clue you all in to a great performer you might otherwise miss. It's Junior Brown and though he falls more into the Country category than anything else, dismissing him as such is a mistake. He plays the custom-made "guit-steel", a six-string electric guitar combined with a full lap steel, switching back and forth between the two at ridiculous speeds, soloing on one and then the other. He's got some catchy songs but, more than that, is a fabulous live performer. I saw him open for Bob Dylan twice last summer, not knowing who he was, and was blown away. So don't miss him.
