I really enjoyed reading that whole story, it'd be cool if their was a good writer that wrote stories based in the lot scene, anyone know of such an author?
Yea what i really want to do this year is to bring my digital camera and make a documentary of bonnaroo. Thats one thing that i don't think has been done yet. Which i think would be really cool to do, so thats one of my objectives this year and staying in the inforoo camping site. Which would also make a cool section of the documentary.

I might be able to present a paper at a conference for graduate students on les's performance at bonnaroo.. plus the new movie and his new book ... so I too may be taking notes
I just read through that. Just one thing - am I to infer from that that you didn't see any of the late-night shows and skipped all of Sunday entirely???
Wow.
You are correct, sir. Well, we did see Widespread Panic one night, which was plenty of WSP IMO, but nothing later than that.
This year will be different. We will be getting sleep Wednesday night, unlike last year, and we will not be out in BFE. Hopefully we won't be as exhausted and we will be able to do it all.
Ohh Andrea - I forgot this was here - this was one of the first posts I read when I found Inforoo and I have to say while part of the blog ecited me completely - there is a bunch there that scared the shit outta me!!!!
Now that I have gotten over all of that - I cannot wait until Wednesday when I leave for my first Bonnaroo!

Megan - yes, she wrote a lot about the bad parts of Roo, but that is her story and not mine, because, personally, I had a blast last year!

Thank you for the story! It cleared a lot of things up. So, I take it if I have a huge tent that my 6'4 boyfriend can stand up in and a shade tent, we probably shouldn't camp by our car?

Well, I think most people won't have a problem spreading out in their area. For some reason, they really packed people in TIGHT out in BFE, which is why we didn't have enough room. That and our neighbors weren't very neighborly and took over our ground.
It's so cool to see Roo from another perspective! It's funny how all the 'bad stuff' at Roo tends to be the best stories. Like the one time I lost my flipflop near Which Stage and ended up crawling on my knees looking for it in ankle deep poo-mud. I was uber angry then but looking back that was one of the best nights of my life!
Missouri <NOW> Summer Camp in Chillicothe, IL <May 21-25> Lawrence, KS <May 26-> Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN <June> JamBaLoosa in Pittsburgh, PA <> Rothbury or RhythmFest in OH <> All Good <>
waiting for the rest of the story - I love to read about ti from someone else's perspective - plus - we have decided if we do it again next year - VIP will be the way to go
