I bought crane wife when it came out, and never really listened to it all the way through untill a week ago,, it's good stuff and I love the other stuff they play and i plan on seeing them for a few songs before i decide if i should stay longer,, feist will probably be in the mix for me(cus she's friggin awesome) for a bit before i see the end of wilco an stake out a spot for da white strizzipes
I'm pretty much in love with Feist and the Decemberists, so I'm gonna hit up the full sets for both, which leaves me no time for Wilco. It's disappointing because I definitely had intended to check them out, but I'm easily the least familiar with their catalogue out of the three, so.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
that is a dilemna. I would like to see either Feist or Decemberists more so but Wilco is starting to grow on me and I think it will be a split between Decemberists and Wilco.
I can't believe people are saying Wilco isn't a good live band anymore. They are one of the best live bands around. Nels Cline is an incredible guitarist. I might just park myself down in front of him and watch him play. He does things with the guitar that shouldn't even be possible.
Though the decemberists are one of my favorite bands, so I'll be trying to see whatever I can of their set. But Wilco's a priority (they are my favorite band.)
Wilco is still a fantastic live band. I saw them three times last year, and twice they were on fire. The third time was at Lollapalooza and they were underwhelming. I think it was a combination of the new songs and the outdoor setting.
Not many people have mentioned North Mississippi Allstars. I will be sure to catch all of their set.
Yep thats where I will be! Junior Brown-> NMAS-> rest of White Stripes-> Panic.......good way to close out bonnaroo. I'm willing to bet NMAS will put on the best show outta of all of those.
