i searched for the old clutch thread to post this but couldnt find it so if this is a double thread I apologize. But who is with me that the CLUTCH show was frigging AMAZING!?!!!!!!! I lost my voice and the majority of my energy thursday night with these guys. awesome. just awesome! anyone see any tapers at the show? i know blueroom didnt cover it and I would really like to check it out video or audio
Dimwell, were you in the back left corner taping it? I think I saw a Zoom H4 set up back there.
That set was fucking amazing. I had interviewed Neil earlier on in the day, and he sounded very pumped to be playing Roo. I'll post the interview in the next day or so.
nah, i was right against the rail behind the soundboard. some drunk bitch tried to tackle my stand about halfway through the set, but i dunno how it sounds on the tape. i need to get to work on that.
It would be much appreciated if you post the show.
I'd love to get a copy of it, & know others who would as well.
I was actually standing to your right for the first part of their set. Thought about saying something to you, but I hate to bother tapers.
Just glad someone got it on tape!!
BTW- Here's the setlist (not sure how familiar you are with Clutch):
Gravel Road Slow Hole Who's Been Talkin'? La Curandera Cypress Grove Electric Worry One Eyed Dollar White's Ferry You Can't Stop Progress Power Player Mob Goes Wild Mice and Gods Never be Moved
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Thanks (+karma!) ... I knew most of the set, but there were a few that I was unfamiliar with.
I'll try to get it seeded somewhere in the next day or two. I still haven't listened to it.
SWEET!!!! Can't wait!
Found out a little while ago, that you are the same taper that "Marcus" from the pro-rock board wrote about....... in the same thread that I wrote about finding a taper from this board.
I thought it was kind of funny, but then again, I haven't got all of the Bonnaroo dust out of my brain quite yet.

Yep ... I met him on the toolshed forums. Cool dude.
He's trying to gear up to tape a few C! shows next month, I think.
clutch was awesome. that set list is definitely out of order. here is what i can remember, i'm sure about the beginning and end, but not the middle.

i think they teased a little bit of elephant riders in the encore.
This was the fourth time I've seen Clutch, and they were as tight as ever. An amazing show as always, probably the best I've seen them, ALTHOUGH my favorite show of theirs was an evening with Clutch: 4 hours of rocking.
I was at David Cross during Clutch, and it was effing loud....to the point that DC couldn't even get through one of his bits at one point. He actually said something about geez....the music is so loud...someone go tell 311 to hold it down...or something...I can't remember exactly what he said but it was funny (about the only funny thing he said that night - speaking as someone will extremely high expectations). I think he was just using it as a chance to try out some new stuff on a crowd that was like...well, F it...the show didn't cost me anything extra...
