Giant Panda Guerrila Dub Squad from Rochester, New York. They have a myspace page if you are interested. My friend who I travelled with is best friends with the sound guy for them, so we were chilling with the band. I also know a girl who dates the guitarist.
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio." -Hunter S. Thompson

I remember liking it a lot. But before I found them I was on Plantation St. (AKA the REAL Shakedown) and I bumped into the folks who were giving out fresh New Castle for meager donations. So my memory is a bit fuzzy. ;D

they played saturday and sunday night. friday night in rochester though, they opened for toots and the maytals. I say they should be on the lineup next year, they are great.

This emphasizes a point I've been trying to make for a while - Rooers Love Reggae. Why don't we get more on the regular line up? In 05 they even scheduled Toots and Matisyahu against each other.
