That show was sick. They play so loud and they have such a great stage presence, especially when you think about the fact that they are two acoustic guitar players.
My Hubby and I just happened to catch a video of them the night before we left for 'roo, plus a friend had recommended them so it was a must see for us.
They were incredible. We were pretty close and her hand was a blur.

I hadn't slept in about 36 hours when their show started and my group all went back to the tent to sleep before they started but I stuck it out and it was absolutely amazing. I guess everyone was probably pretty tired, but I was disappointed in the crowd for that show. They were trying so hard to keep everyone in to it but the cheering was so dull until Wish You Were Here came out, of course...great show.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

I was going nuts, along with everyone around me. When something really awesome would go on, me and this one guy would always high five each other and scream. I didn't even talk to him, just gave him high fives....he was a cool dude.

I was delirious from lack of sleep but right after their second song i was dancing my ass off. Not to mention all the trippy video on the screen, that was put together perfectly. one of my top roo 07 moments!

I thought at first how well the video was synched to the playing until I realized that what I thought were extra mics were actually webcams mounted on mic stands. They had two each at different angles so all the video was live.

glad i wasn't the only one who took a minute to figure out they were cameras and not a prerecorded video.

a dude standing near me in the back lost it when they started playing "One." when the were leading into it he kept shouting "Play it! Just Play it!" Then when the started he went apeshit, shreiking "They're playing it! They're playing it" and hooting for the whole song! I admired his enthusiam, but I had to move since I couldn't hear the song with the constant shouting.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

I was about two rows back. It was one of the best concerts I saw! I have some videos of concerts on youtube, I took one of Rod y Gab during the Wish you were here cover. Here's a link to it. Don't mind my incessant and horribly off key singing. I was quite inebriated.

Haha! I know! I am horribly jittery. But, in my defense, it was in the middle of a huge, very active crowd, I was very drunk, and I was trying to sing and record at the same time...so yeah, add all those up and you get very bad picture quality. My apologies!
