what? yea. Coheed And Clutch - wookubus (3:29 PM PST 07/31/2007) According to FMQB, Clutch and Coheed And Cambria will be mounting a co-headlining tour together this fall.
I heard about that. Thats a straaange tour. Should be good though.
yea it is a weird pairing. but the surprising thing is that clutch is big enough now to co-headline with coheed. that's awesome. finally. i will definitely try to catch this show.
Coheed lost A LOT of speed with their latest album... On the other hand, Clutch is gaining momentum.
are you kidding me? Part IV was incredible! There were some of their most epic songs on that album, definitely my favorite of the 3 so far. Looking forward very much to the coming of their new album at the end of October, and the completion of the saga.

I was thinking the same thing, IV was a fantastic album, and by far, NOT a loss of speed by any means. I've been a fan of Coheed since Turbine, and like few bands out there, they have gotten better as they have progressed as a band. Not many people listen to you when you try to tell them to just listen to Coheed. Not just once, cause one listen is not how this band works. This Clutch & Coheed co-headlining tour is gonna be great, two of my fav. bands at one show. Nice.
Also, Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar, karma for speaking up.
Another thing, Sangreal, you check thePRP as well I see. Its been a great source for a loooonnng time, karma for you when I have it.
Not in my opinion. I think they were trying to do too much with the album. Too conceptual. It just doesn't have the same pop that the other two did. It's certainly been a progression, but IV didn't get as much accolades as the other albums...
To each their own. I'll def be checking out the tour.
I've seen both live, I'd never think of seeing them together, but it could work. I'll be honest, Clutch sort of disappointed me at 'Roo this year, I'd have loved to hear more of the older stuff, I like that stuff a whole lot more than what they've been doing lately.
Also, Good Apollo is a great album, I don't see how you could like what they've done before but not like this.
I check theprp too But apparently not frequently enough, as I missed this.

i thought clutch was awesome at roo. i prefer the older stuff as well, but they still put on a kick ass show. i didn't enjoy the last coheed album as much either.

I would see Clutch again. But I wouldn't want Coheed and Cambria at Bonnaroo.
I can't stand that band. My favorite part of the "Welcome Home" video is when the song comes to a close and the singer's voice (Which sounds like a horrible mix of Geddy Lee and Dave Mathews combined with nails on a chalk board) fades away.

I agree with the first song.
But Welcome Home is a great song, even for a non-fan like myself.
