I have to admit I have a little MTV problem. Anyway, I was watching the devil the other day and recognized a song in the background of a commercial. For the past couple of days Rod y Gab have been the centerpiece of every MTV-based commercial. Every commercial break included them playing guitar and even comments about their music. Thought this was odd, I give it a year until we have a Rod y Gab and Shakira colab.

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, hang in there minneapolisaroo I believe in you!!! I too have struggled with the MTV/VH1 beast and it willl devour hours of your day and make you dumber at the same time. Fight it!!
A Rodrigo y Gabriela y Shakira collab wouldn't be the end of the world, you never know it might turn out alright. The positive would be that it would give RyG a lot of well deserved attention, the downside is they would probably be just MTV's flavor of the month...

Thanks for the support easymorningrebel, I'm trying to ween myself off but every once in a while I black out and 3 hours later I've banged out 6 episodes of Next! It's bad enough the Wilco has all those VW commericals and the FLips have a Dell commercial (which I actually think is a cool comercial, if thats possible), but Rod and Gab at every comercial break (not lying, check it out for yourself), I'm going to throw my TV out of the window (which is inevitable once the Vikings start playing again.) Look out below!!!!
