Lil' Captain Travis or Octopus Project
omg! someone else who knows and loves the octopus project. they would sooooo fit in at bonnaroo! karma, my friend
as for this smaller, unknown bands.... dubconscious (played the troo music lounge last year, seen them thrice since then, they KILL)
and the features. they are a local nashville/murfreesboro/sparta band. they had a major label deal. played on jimmy kimmel. toured europe with kings of leon. got dropped by their label for not doing a credit card commercial cover of "all you need is love" (you might have seen it, nada surf ended up doing it)
^^^ There's a great one, The Features. National touring experience, so they won't be intimidated by the larger Roo crowd, and they're local backyard boys.

On a REALLY obscure note, I saw this poppy rock band Let's Get Out Of This Terrible Sandwich Shop at a bar a few weeks back. They were quite good, but I feel like they should get a slot for the name alone.

Delta Spirit. They've been touring like crazy the past year, opening up for two popular 'roo vets, Cold War Kids and then later Dr Dog. I caught them at a Dr Dog show in Baltimore and they nearly upstaged Dr Dog with hardly anyone there familiar with their music. They've got an unforgettable stage presence and catchy songs with a social conscious message.

I would absolutely Love to see Jordis Unga. She was on that TV show Rockstar INXS. She has an incredible voice does some great originals and covers. I think she would be perfect in one of the smaller tents or on the solar stage. I saw her do an acoustic set a week ago with her brother that was out of this world. Bring on Jordis!!!!
I would love to see The Floating Men added. They have been around forever and have just damn awesome music. I think they would be awesome for roo! Hell, they are out of Nashville, too! FLOATILLA!!!
