I'm a huge PJ fan and have been waiting for them to play Roo for the last few years. Last year I was really keeping my fingers crossed and am doing the same this year. My opinion is that the rumors about last year were somewhat true but for whatever reason they PJ and Superfly decided that this year would be better (maybe because they might have a chance to play with Zepplin). If they do play I think it could be incredible because they haven't played the South in a long time, they are going to do many (if any dates in 2008) and Roo technically sets aside 4 hours for the headliners set. I don't think PJ would play 4 hours but if that is their one throw down of the year I bet they'd use a lot of it.

I really hope this is happening and that Metallica isn't....

Now with the possibility of it being Metallica I say bring on Pearl Jam.

I doubt Led Zep would get scheduled for a Sunday headlining slot.
The Sunday night slot usually goes to a jam band the hardcore fans stick around for, when a significant number have already left.
If people had to hang around to catch the biggest draw of the festival on Sunday, there might be added logistical difficulties. Exit traffic, for one, would be a snarl if everyone left during a smaller window of time.
Not that I'm personally against Led Zep topping off the fest. I'm afraid they'll ruin every band I'll see after them.
