• Speaking of Led Zeppelin, lead singer Robert Plant and Alison Krauss will perform at Bonnaroo.
I heard their album for the first time the other day while browsing for Pink Floyd records in a local record store. I bought it immediately, and am very impressed at how Plant seems comfortable with his vocals at this point in his career. I find it very disconcerting when vocalists do not adapt to their changin vocal abilities as they get older, and I'm very glad Plant has not taken that route. Plus Alison Krauss has the voice of an angel.

Awesome! The question still is though, does this make Zep at Bonnaroo more or less likely? I'm going with less, because it would so totally upstage the Plant/Kraus performance it would hardly be worth having.
well, you ask me why i'm drunk all the time it levels my head and eases my mind i just walk along and stroll and sing i see better days and i do better things
This just confirms that Zeppelin will play Roo for me. Plant being there tells me it's happening. I would LOVE to see the Krause/Plant thing before seeing Zeppelin later. I really believe that is what will happen.

i don't know...we know plant and alison will be there...i've heard they'll play together...i'm having trouble seeing how that could not be a headliner set....i don't see alison playing with union station in the day and being joined for a few songs by plant...if they do any songs together it will be a full set....and plant being the rock god he is, having him not headline doesn't make sense....and i'm having trouble seeing zeppelin there along with plant/krauss together....what would work best would be a suprise zeppelin set...but would/could they do that? either way, i will be at bonnaroo 08, and i will get to see a rock god like plant with or without zeppelin but with a goddess of country/bluegrass who sounds like an angel for a legendary show combining the two genre's of music together...fuck i can't wait....
