They are touring together right now...and I found that odd. After thinking about WHY a Marley might open up for Van Halen, I have come to but one conclusion...they both will be playing Bonnaroo. What do you think?

I cant stand David Lee Roth, and Eddie Van Halen's son has not played very long at all. Ive seen the tour video's and i like the 80's right where they are ..HISTORY.....
If i had to i would like to see Van Halen... But with Sammy Hagar singing
I agree no VH at the Roo, not a good fit. But my two cents, I saw them in Indy on this tour. Took my fifteen year old son for his birthday, I really had no idea what to expect. They were off the hook! I could not believe how good they were. Everything played was from the first 6 albums. Lots of surprises. I thought about that show for days, I could not believe how tight the band was. Eddie and his son Wolfgang seemed as if they have played together for years. David Lee actually sang all the lyrics, he is still a showman. It had to be my surprise show of the year. Once again though they would not fit at the Roo.

I hear ya, meatman. I saw them at their second show of this tour, and I'm about to go see them again in March. For those of you that think they would suck cause they're "old" or "too young" I can't disagree with you more. They kick major arse live and I can't wait to go see them again. I've never been to a show where everyone stood there with their jaws dragging the ground.
Don't think they are a good fit for Roo, though. Great live show elsewhere.
