What does everyone think the chances are of Dave Matthews Band or Dave and Friends coming back to headline this year? It's been since 2005 and he has played this fest a lot. He is launching a summer 2008 tour according to the website but no dates yet.

I too really hope that Dave comes back, I would love to see him in that environment I also would like to see Jack Johnson, which I think is possible since he has a new album coming in Feb., but that all depends on what he is doing between the Japan and Portugal shows. I think there is plenty of time between the two though.
As a sidenote, do you think that DMB might play Bonnaroo and do what Radiohead did in '06 and play most of the songs on the new album because DMB, i think, is working on a new album but they are just in the beginning.

I would love jack to come back (ooo that rhymes) I caught a little of him in 2005 but it was pouring rain the entire show...I could see him doing an afternoon show.
I don't think DMB would play mostly new songs at bonnaroo...I've seen them do this in Chicago for their "everyday" tour...it was really disapointing cause I love the old stuff. But Bonnaroo is different and in 2005 they played lots of old stuff with a few new songs mixed in.
