what about sigur ros? i have no clue if they are touring this summer or what, but i think they would fit the bill pretty well.... they just released a movie and everything. what do you guys think?
Absolutely, the fact that they haven't yet been boggles my mind... an obvious choice for a monumental late night tent show, as I don't think it'd draw enough crowd for Which Stage.

I love "Ágætis Byrjun" and "Takk...", but I've always loved "( )" the most. It has so much infinite space and depth. I dunno, it just achieves something the others don't, and that's saying a lot.
Not saying the others aren't great, but "Ágætis" is the one that made the most of an impression on me. "()" is probably right behind Ágætis, for me, still a very very strong album. "Takk" didn't do much for me at all, however.

i picked up the new cd a couple of days ago but havent had the chance to listen to it ... we saw them 3 times i think, and they were always stellar ...... canx**
