My favorite comedian working today is probably Brian Regan. It astounds me how someone could do such pedestrian, clean observational humor and manage to be so side-splittingly funny at it.

I've already seen Lewis Black, Patton Oswalt and David Cross at Roo, but would love to do it again. I'd love to see Dave Attel, Brian Posehn and Zack Galifinakis added to the line-up.
Oh, yeah....And Eddie Izzard is one of the funniest comics alive, but I don't see him fitting-in at Roo.

Since I missed them last year, I think I'd like another chance to see Flight Of The Conchords. I've heard more than many good things about their show from.....um....uh....I don't know, someone around here.
Demitri Martin getting his own block in the tent would be great, rather than as an opener of sorts for FoC Also Daniel Tosh is hilarious really i'd be fine with anything that doesn't involve dane cook

Yes, Janeane Garofalo was on the bill for some event sponsored by AC/Superfly, I think David Cross was also on the bill, I think they could/should bring in a bigger female name for the ladies, Lisa Lampinelli would work too
I've thought for the past couple years that Zach Galifianakis would be a fucking awesome addition to the comedy tent, but I never mentioned it because I had no idea how to spell his last name
I think Dane Cook makes sense not just because he's pretty fucking funny, by the way has anybody heard his joke about getting head in the car?, and he seems like he would fit well with the "hipster/frat guy" crowd, which I am no part of or want no part of
I'd love to see Jim Gaffigan because Beyond the Pale is so hilarious it has driven me to tears
I'm okay if Lewis Black returns, basically because I have yet to make it inside the comedy tent, they really need to expand it or something, however he's been the main comedic act for the past two years, so it's possible they could change it up, however, if he didn't have a set, he might be there anyway, I think most people know how much he loves Bonnaroo
I remember Jim Bruer and Charlie Murphy were there in 05, anyone see their acts? how were they?
I definitely see Flight of the Conchords and possibly Demetri Martin both returning
Please keep Sarah Silverman away, she's just not very funny, I think she was a host at Sasquatch last year
I'd love to see Dave Chappelle there, I've heard he lives on a farm in Ohio or something, and he's got the connection to Charlie Murphy who was there in 05, and the Roots were on Chappelle's show once and of course they played last year
I think because it's in Tennessee and that's the redneck/country area, not judging or stereotyping, hey I'm from Kentucky, Larry the Cable Guy would be fucking awesome, and did you know that Larry the Cable Guy is really not a redneck? that accent's fake, I've seen footage of his early years, not a redneck at all...
but I'm not sure how big is too big for the comedy acts, there aren't many acts for the comedy tent every year, you basically get a group of comedians for Thurs and Fri, and another group for Sat and Sun
I like everyone's posts and I'm sure some of these names will be there
didnt zack just quit comedians of comedy though? i cant remember. hold on let me look. (fumbles papers around) yeah. he did. zack out, eugene mirman in.
FotC have a new full-length album coming out in a few weeks. They also did an interview recently and said some things about their upcoming tour (YAY!) They said they'd really like to do a showcase type of thing using comedians from their HBO show... Eugene Mirman, Arj Barker, Kristin Schall, Rhys Darby, etc ....
They are signed with sub-pop, so is Patton Oswalt, David Cross & Eugene Mirman.
but Jemaine had no information on Roo line-up rumors. So either nobody had approached them yet or he was holding back...
one more thing to consider about all the comedians. This writer's strike is affecting a lot of them, filming schedules are being pushed back and so on. Most shows film in the spring... now it'll be during summer...
