Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I can never find time for the comedy tent. However, if Dave Chappelle or Ron White were to be there, i'd have to see them. Also, Tenacious D would be awesome, imo. Do you think they could be big enough for a tent show? If not, maybe the solar stage is an idea..
Anyway, I might be the only person in the world who thinks Sara Silverman is funny. I wouldn't mind seeing her at Bonnaroo. As far as Lewis Black goes...he's really funny, and he draws a HUGE crowd, but honestly, once you've seen his live show, you've seen them all. It's kind of the same old political commentary year in and year out.
I would like to see Patton Oswalt again (his bit about hippies in 06 was GREAT), Demitri Martin again (even though he has been there the past 2 years...in 06 he was with a group of comics), Zack Galifianakis, Brian Posehn, or Pablo Francisco. I'm a huge fan of stand-up comedy and I will definitely be spending plenty of time in the comedy tent!
However, PLEASE keep Larry the Cable Guy away or any form of Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Negative. Just because Manchester is a small southern town doesn't mean that everyone at Bonnaroo would enjoy that
I say resurrect Bill Hicks to headline the comedy tent!
Impossible I know...but if I feel if he would have fit the spirit of the 'Roo perfectly. And yes, I say bring back Flight of the Conchords! I had been so excited to see them in '07! I loved them for months before their announcement at the farm. But due to uh...complications my friends and I totally missed them.
My picks would be: Stephen Lynch Ari Shaffir Jim Gaffigan Michael Ian Black Michael Showalter Nick Swardson Patrice O'neal Dennis Leary Pablo Francisco Bob Saget Zach Galifianakis Brian Posehn
I really wouldn't like to see Lewis Black back again. He did almost the exact same jokes in 2007 that he did in 2006.
And if Dave Chappelle could pull off one or two more of his 6+ hour sets like he's done recently, then I definitely wouldnt mind seeing him.
There are so many people that would be good....Louis CK, Jim Norton, Patrice O'Neal etc....but I'll tell you right now, I don't care who they get, cause there's no way I'm waiting on that line!
Too much other stuff going on to spend Bonnaroo in a Bonna-queue.
Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.

i think sara is hilarious. she is on howard stern a few times a year and she is always really funny on the show and even though her show can be kinda strange sometimes it is still funny. i would also love to see her there.

The Marijuana Logues. Predictable, I know; however, these guys are hilarious. Doug Benson is playing some club near my Roswell house in February and I'm probably going to check him out.
Brian Regan, Ron White, Dimitri Martin and Kevin Smith.
Finally, some more love for Brian Regan!
Frankly, I'm surprised by how long he's been around without either breaking out or calling it quits! I remember watching him back before Ha! and the Comedy Channel merged to form Comedy Central!
Also, I have to admit that whoever is in the Comedy Tent will likely not draw me away from the music. I have yet to see a comedian perform at Roo (saw one of the Conchord guys walkin' around last year) and I doubt I will break that trend anytime soon. I'd much prefer comedians to perform on What stage between sets (or at least to play some highlights on the big screens) considering how few people actually make it in the tents.
